After a long time Apple has finally acknowledged the frustrating iOS issues that Apple users have in their iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Apple is expected to roll out fixes for those issues after a software update.

In December 2022 iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max users were facing green and yellow horizontal lines flashing across their screen while booting up their devices. Users started reporting this issue to Apple.
And finally after listening to their users Apple has issued an internal memo clarifying that it is “aware of a problem” and a patch is expected to arrive with iOS 16.3 in the upcoming weeks.
The other problem is related to the home app. The release of the previous iOS 16.2 version brought about the option to upgrade Apple’s Smart home manager to a more reliable and efficient architecture but unfortunately that option was removed without explanation shortly after appearing.
But there is some good news: the home architecture upgrade option has returned in the second iOS 16.3 beta version which suggests it will almost certainly become available in iOS 16.3 after it goes live.
According to Bloomberg Apple is planning to launch iOS 16.3 alongside iPad OS 16.3 and Mac OS Ventura 13.3 in February or March full stop Apple is also planning to release the companies new MacBook Pro 16 inch 2020 3 model and MacBook Pro 14 inch 2023 model laptops. We could have ever seen a fix for the iPhone 14s horizontal line issue that arrived enough for the upgrade to iOS 16.2 given the severity of the problem.
It’s completely unknown what features will iOS 16.3 bring other than fixing these issues though a suite of Under the Hood performance improvements seems in the list.
